Mission Statement:
Southeast Louisiana Home Builders Association, Inc. is a professional organization which strives to unite and represent the building industry in St. Mary, Assumption, St. Martin (lower half), LaFourche and Terrebonne parishes. SLHBA is dedicated to the idea of quality housing at affordable prices, thus protecting the "American Dream" of homeownership.
SLHBA:
Established in 1979, Southeast Louisiana Home Builders Association, Inc. (SLHBA) is a non-profit association representing members involved in residential new construction, commercial new construction, land development, residential remodeling and various associated member businesses.
SLHBA is a chartered member of Louisiana Home Builders Association (LHBA) along with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
Currently SLHBA has approximately 275 members; LHBA has approximately 6,200 members and NAHB has more than 250,000 members. "STRENGTH IN NUMBERS."
